Uzbekistan Ikat Weekender

This bag is truly fantastic. The colorful silk ikat panel is hand-dyed, hand-loomed, and brought to you straight from where the art-form originated in Uzbekistan. One meter ikat fabric takes five to six days nonstop working in small villages. Ikat from Uzbekistan, defined as abrabandi, means “bound cloud”, which is considered by many the most captivating ikat there is.
